FAQs
Who does Smurfette end up with? ›
Hefty is currently the only Smurf with a romantic interest for Smurfette. He was the first Smurf to meet her after she was created in the 1981 TV series. Hefty is also one of the Smurfs whom she has given the most affection to. Whenever Smurfette is asked which Smurf she would marry, Hefty is always one of her choices.
How does Smurfs a lost village end? ›The Smurfs are freed but despite their victory, Smurfette has been reverted to a lifeless lump of clay. Back at Smurf Village, the Smurfs make a memorial for Smurfette, and silently mourn her loss, with Papa Smurf referring to her as the truest Smurf of them all.
How did Smurfette beat Gargamel? ›He begins to absorb their magic for himself until Smurfette goes to his castle to save her friends. Because she can absorb Gargamel's magic instead of being affected by it, she uses the magic against him to defeat him and save her friends, but it causes her to turn back into the clay she was made from.
Is Smurfs The Lost Village for kids? ›Smurfs: The Lost Village has some scary scenes and characters, so it isn't recommended for very young children. We also recommend parental guidance for children aged 5-7 years.
Can Smurfette get pregnant? ›As such, present day Smurfs still have two sexes, but both male and female Smurfs are sterile by default and pregnancy is not possible, even if physical relationships are. In order for a new Smurf to be delivered, two parent Smurfs (one parent Smurf would generate a clone) must submit a 'stork application'.
Who is Smurfettes baby daddy? ›In the end, Smurfette chooses Papa Smurf as being her real father over Gargamel, as do the Naughties when they become Smurfs themselves.

Generations later, Papa Smurf became the father of about 99 male Smurfs, though it is not known how they were raised with Papa Smurf as their sole parent (with the exception of the Hundredth Smurf).
He is the first Smurf other than Papa Smurf to be identified by name. In the original comic version of "The Purple Smurfs" (titled "Les Schtroumpfs noirs" or "The Black Smurfs" in English) the bitten Smurfs were black-skinned. The color change in the cartoon version was done to eliminate any racist connotation.
How many years do Smurfs live? ›All Smurfs, with the exception of Papa, Baby, Smurfette, Nanny and Grandpa, are said to be 100 years old.
Why did Smurfette turn blonde? ›Smurfette was created by the evil wizard Gargamel, the Smurfs' archenemy, in order to spy on them and sow jealousy. However, she decides that she wants to be a real Smurf and Papa Smurf casts a spell that changes her hair from black to blonde as a sign of her transformation.
Who did Smurfette kiss? ›
Empath Stories
On the night following Gargamel being permanently driven from the Smurf Forest along with Azrael and Scruple, Smurfette engaged Empath with a kiss on the mouth, which at that point was the most intimate expression of love she had ever shared with another male Smurf.
Most every Smurf's fears are linked to a loss of their primary talents along with a shared fear of Gargamel, Scruple, Azrael, and Lord Balthazar, but there are several individuals with exceptions. Smurfette is afraid she will never find her "Prince Smurf," although she recognizes that this is trivial.

Clumsy Smurf and Claire are two Smurfs that begin to date, which leads to their marriage as well. Handy Smurf and Marina are the known Smurf-Mermaid couple who are dating.
Why did Smurfette turn to clay? ›In Smurfs: The Lost Village, Smurfette's sacrifice to save her fellow Smurfs and Smurfettes caused her to revert to a lifeless lump of blue clay, but the show of emotion from her friends and family mourning her death creates magic that re-animates her remains and changes her back into a living Smurf once again.
What did Smurfs eat? ›They love to eat sarsaparilla (a species of Smilax) leaves, whose berries the Smurfs naturally call "smurfberries". The smurfberries appear only in the cartoon; in the original comics, the Smurfs only eat the leaves from the sarsaparilla.
